Merv is designer I met in 2010 while visiting New York. Ever since I saw him and talked to him, I’ve wanted to take his photograph, and I finally got a chance to. He’s got great passion and love for what he does, and my hope is that everyone else sees that too.
Not too much shooting happened in 2012, but I’m excited I got a chance to photograph Merv.
I got a chance to photograph Angela late last year, and I didn’t realize how hard it would be to photograph one of your own peers. I think for the both of us it was a great experience, and I can’t thank her enough for letting me take her picture.
new year, new beginnings
Happy New Year!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted, so I decided to start fresh and new, hopefully take it in a direction where this all finally makes sense.
I don’t normally make new years resolutions, but this year, I decided to make a resolution, which is to make resolutions and make changes to what needs to be changed and work on those that need work.
Resolutions.
1. Learn people’s names, and not only learn names, but also be able to put a face to them.
2. Carry around a small notebook, there’s too much I forget along the day
3. Dress better
4. Shoot Pictures! shoot pictures of my friends, my family, my loved ones, the guy sitting down, the girl walking across the street, shoot anything that tells my story.
5. Fall in love again with the art.
